Currently, there are approximately 600,000 people employed in the Care sector and more than 75% have no recognised qualifications. It is now mandatory that managers in Care Homes are qualified with a minimum of 2 qualifications at level 4 NVQ or equivalent.
In addition, 50% of the other care staff must hold appropriate qualifications for their job role. This means that at all times, on duty, there must be a qualified manager and 50% of the staff on duty must also be qualified.
Advance 365 offers you an innovative way to gain the Registered Mangers award through self-managed and supported blended learning.
The NVQ Registered Managers Award Level 4 is now available through Advance365 as a blended learning programme. Learners can now undertake this award through eLearning together with observation and validation in the workplace by an NVQ assessor. The programme should take between 12 -18 months to complete.
Method
Candidates wishing to complete their award the Advance365 way will upon application have a chance to try a taster session on Advance 365 and develop a Personal Experience Profile.

Potential Candidates should be in post and with 2 years worth of managerial responsibilities experience, although some exceptions will occur.
