Nicholas, 22, from Liverpool, had completed school with 10 GCSE's and 3 A-Levels before going onto complete a ten months voluntary administration position at Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Despite his extensive qualifications and the valuable work experience he had gained, Nicholas struggled to find work following his voluntary work and joined TNG on the FTET programme for help to find a job.
During his time at TNG, Nicholas gained a further IT qualification, the ECDL, which he hoped would help him when searching for work in admin, his chosen industry. He also received health and safety training as well as advice about interview techniques and support with his jobsearch. He went on placement in an admin role, which helped him to develop his existing skills in a dynamic working environment. This improved his confidence immensely and he had more belief in his ability achieve so on completion of his placement Nicholas returned to his jobsearch with a newfound passion.
His dedication paid off when he was successful in gaining a position advising the public on money advice matters at the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Nicholas said "TNG has been exceptionally helpful, understanding and committed in helping me to develop my work skills and find a job. The staff are absolutely dedicated."
