Antony, 59, had limited experience and his confidence was low when he was referred to TNG through the Jobcentre.

David was referred to TNG on FND in September 2010, having previously been on the CTF Programme. His first meeting with his Personal Job Adviser quickly established, David’s biggest barrier to work was travel and transport.

Debra, 46, had completed an ECDL course, yet she still struggled to find a job.

Farah, 18, had been out of work for a year, she always had an ambition to work in childcare.

Jonathan, 21, only had the experience of volunteering at a care home with no idea of what he wanted to do. He also suffered from a speech impediment that affected him throughout his life.

Leon, 21, previously worked in retail, warehouse and sales, yet he had never settled in a full time job.

Paul, 55, unfortunately packed up his Bed & Breakfast business four years ago due to his illness. He had a general working business background with sales and retail skills and also educated to a degree level.

Sarah, 36, had gained six years of experience in customer service working as a kitchen assistant. She came to TNG having been unemployed for two years, severely lacking confidence, self-worth and poor communication skills.
