Avanta, incorporating TNG & InBiz, successfully achieved the Matrix Standard in May. Over 200 staff, customers and employers were interviewed during two weeks of visits by Matrix assessors. Visits took place to over 15 offices up and down the country including the company head office in Enfield.

Operating from the Argyle Centre in Ramsgate, TNG works alongside three other training providers (Thanet College, SES Tutors and Maximus UK) to overcome the high unemployment of the deprived coastal towns of Thanet.

We welcomed visitors from China to our Stratford office on Monday 29th March 2010. The visitors are in the UK on invitation from the British Council on a fact-finding, ‘Political and Business Leaders’ study visit from 22nd to 30th March.

Janette Faherty, Avanta CEO, has been awarded an OBE for services to unemployed people and entrepreneurship in the New Years Honours List.

The Lincoln TNG team has teamed up with The Healthy Hub, a Lincoln-based social enterprise, to hold Lincoln’s first Healthy Living event. Promoting the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, it will be held on 1 September 2009 from 10am -2pm, at The Healthy Hub in Beaumont Fee.
