Shah, 62 had 20 years of experience as a food technologist in the food processing industry. He was made redundant in his last role in November 2008 and was referred to TNG on the FND programme.

Shah’s adviser Jim Ashcroft helped him with job search techniques, interview presentations including PowerPoint presentations for interviews.  His adviser prepared mock interviews which built up Shah’s confidence in attending interviews.

Over time and with the support from his adviser Shah was offered a permanent full-time position as a new product development food technologist at Pure Drive Fine Foods Ltd.

Shah started his new role on the 1^st June 10 and is looking forward to a productive career.
