Carl had been unemployed for some time before joining TNG Stockport. With a keen interest in sports, He received help to update his CV and cover letters in order to pursue a sports-related job, and was supported during jobsearch activities which encouraged him to focus on his career aims and goals.
Carl gained a placement at a secondary school, where he was able to get valuable experience of working with children whilst using his level 1 qualification in badminton. His placement has given him the confidence and motivation to continue in the field and he is looking forward to completing other sports courses and becoming a sports coach.
