Office opening in Liverpool

TNG have been working to help the long term unemployed in Liverpool find work since 1986 and have so far helped hundreds of people into careers.

The new office at Harrington House on Harrington Street, will continue to help tackle unemployment through mentoring, training and employment services andby working with local employers.

The event was attended by Carol Moir, Managing Director of TNG, Dawn Marsh, Director North TNG, local Liverpool TNG staff, local employers and Job Centre advisors.

At the event TNG clients were awarded certificates to recognise their achievement of obtaining qualifications in numeracy and literacy through dedicated learning.  

Lesley Skelton, TNG Regional Manager said, “Our work in Liverpool has meant that local people have been able to access the support, advice and training that they need to find local jobs. We work hard to develop the skills that meet the needs of local businesses.

“We have put 89 people into employment in Liverpool this year, and I feel that we are becoming well-established here. The longer we are here the more businesses we get to know, and that will only help us get more people into work.”
